Shop till you drop!

I have ventured into a new hobby of selling vintage children's and women's clothing in my newly re-vamped etsy shop! I still love crafting but with 2 young kiddos and being a working mama I really have no time for creating things for my shop these days. I figured since I am out there searching for cute stuff for my girls, I am not spending that much extra time looking for items for the shop. And what girl doesn't LOVE shopping! I mainly sell stuff for the lil' peanuts but I also will have a Misses line (coming soon!) and occasionally throw in some fun accessories or vintge decor. Check it out!

Thrifty Peanut: Memorial Day Weekend Finds

I managed to find the time to squeeze in a couple yard sales this weekend. Here are my treasures...

Here we have a coasters shaped like racquets, you know, in case I ever decide to throw a racquet ball theme party!

I am also re-doing the kitchen and found a ladle with the handle in one of the colors I am going to use! The other image is of my daughter and her new, well old, fisher price phone! She is saying "hello!"

Thrifty Peanut: Tulip Shelf

I found this little tulip shelf at a tag sale earlier this spring. It was painted 3 different colors. There were 3 parts, the flower, the stem and the pot. I gave it a coat of some chalkboard paint and wrote different types of flowers on it and hung it in my daughters room in a corner that needed some love. What is crazy is the little vintage animals on the shelves actually came from the same house 2 years earlier at a yard sale they were having.
