This year we combined both girls birthday parties. Their birthdays are less than a month away from eachother. I really wanted to do a Fresh Beat Band theme for Macey because it is one of her favorite shows. Instead we did a princess theme. We could save money and my sanity but not going crazy with planning 2 parties so close to each other so one it was! I told myself I would try to keep it simple but I usually get carried away. We had tiaras, pearl necklaces, handmade wands, nail painting, craft station, royal banners and yummy food! I pulled form my huge collection of vintage linens for the table clothes, and banners. I made each felt want while watching Lifetime movies each night. And the wooden princess heads and paint were all on sale at Jo-Anns. The one boy at the party got a wooden frog head to paint. how fitting! I even made the cupcakes myself!

What do you get when you put a room full of 9 year old girls with an awesome collection of dress-up clothes and accessories, a back drop, pop music and a photographer? A super model fashion shoot! Oh and whole lot of fun! The girls also decorated wooden frames to take home bought at a craft store before I arrived so they would have a place for their glamour shots! What a great memory! Let's just say that Camden's birthday party was the talk of the school and maybe the best party of the year according to the models, I mean guests. :) We all had a blast and I can't wait to do another shoot like this.

Riley's 2nd Birthday Party Invitation
We did a strawberry theme this year! I know that next year she will want a Shrek or Mickey Mouse theme or a princess party, so this was probably my last year to do what I wanted to do.
